How was your journey as the founder?  What are the main things that triggered you to start?

I was always inclined towards teaching. I used to teach students from very young age i.e. during my college days. I was happy with my Job but this dream of starting my own institute was always on mind and hence when I realized that it is time for me to start, I just started with it. Now we take GMAT Coaching, GRE Coaching, IELTS Coaching, Interview Skills, MBA Entrance Coaching, Math Olympiad, Spoken English and Vedic Maths Training Classes. I have also written 16 books.

Did you work anywhere in the company or institution before starting your own thing? How was the experience of working there?

Yes. I have worked with Private education provider firm.  It was also a wonderful time.

Why did you choose entrepreneurship over the job?

I did not want to be a part of the crowd and it could not be that we were not getting the package well. This point always triggered me.

So when did your Journey begin?

We have founded Arham Education in the year of 2015 after spending about 10 years in teaching students privately.

How was it to leave the professional career and starting something new from scratch?

Well to be honest, there is lot of struggle during initial stage. As one can know the subject and teach the subjects but understanding market practices/ tactics and dynamics is really tough. Though you may believe in fair competitive environment but every time the same might not exists. It takes lot of time to understand and adjust to this fact.

What does it take to be an entrepreneur?

It takes everything. Be it setting-up yearly goals and employee management or getting the business or putting efforts on Marketing, you need to monitor every single detail in order to save it from falling apart. You are the head of the company and you need to make the most efforts to stay on track.

One advice you would like share with aspiring entrepreneurs.

Never give up! You will fail more than 3 times and that’s okay. No one remembers about the failure once you hit the success. I have failed multiple times and trust me, every time it was a learning experience. Learn from it and utilize it to get your direction right.

How much do you think networking is important to be a successful entrepreneur?

Networking is needed but it does not prove to be a shortcut to your success. In fact, if you can’t show quality work, networking is of no help.

What motivates you?

My family, Team members, and my students, all motivate me daily. They always gave me the best support that I have to do more and more.
